CRISIS
Crisis is generally the reason behind feelings of wanting to give up.
In times of crisis, we can be tempted to "chuck it all," "give it up," "forget it."
Giving up and giving in during a crisis is one of the most demoralizing decisions we can make.
Facing the crisis is the natural result of change-one thing of which we can always be sure.
The world is in constant state of flux.
Peoples' lives change, the business climate fluctuates, world powers realign, history marches on.
The earth and our environment constantly evolve.
Crisis results in and from change.

Why black South Africans are attacking foreign Africans but not foreign whites
The attacks on migrant shop owners in Durban this week reminds us the position of foreigner in South Africa is a complex one. After decades of isolation from the rest of the African continent, and the world, during apartheid, South Africa finally opened up to the rest of world in 1994.
Under apartheid, South Africa’s immigration mirrored the narrow mindedness and prejudice of the National Party. Several laws made visiting or living in South Africa unpalatable to many. Particularly those of non-European descent.
At the dawn of the “new South Africa” in 1994, the country became home to many outsiders playing a key role in offering protection and refuge to people who had suffered

Things we often Forget to Be Thankful For
Today, I heard someone say that
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough”.
That phraseology completely resonated with me.
A marketing strategist, Charles E Gaudet, took it further when he said that even in business “If you want to show your #Customers that you truly appreciate them, then taking time to craft a personalized message can go a long way.”

INEC PRESS STATEMENT
09th April, 2015
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received reports that some political leaders are asking members of the public to disregard its stated resolve to use Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and Smart Card Readers (SCRs) for the April 11, 2015 Governorship and State Assembly elections.
A particular state governor in the North Central geo-political zone is reported to have assured voters in the state that they could come out to vote on Election Day with Temporary Voter Cards (TVCs) if they do not have the PVC, and that INEC will not be allowed to insist on the use of SCRs for voter accreditation.
Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard false assurances that contradict the regulations INEC has outlined for the Governorship and State Assembly elections. The Commission reaffirms that only voters with genuine PVCs should come

Why You Must Choose Your Words Carefully
Weekend is almost here and I am pretty sure you have several ways to relax already planned out. You’ll probably want to go to the movies, stores, or just relaxing with friends. Yea everybody wants that – of course All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. (Cliché but very true).
But it’s important you’re mindful of what you say and your choice of words. It doesn’t matter if it’s the weekend or week start. The words you say could do more harm than you ever thought, Yea. Some people quickly say anything, maybe because they’re upset or for whatever reason. They just let it out. I’ll tell you a story!
A farmer insulted his neighbour. Realizing his mistake, he went to the preacher to ask for forgiveness. The preacher told him to take a bag of feathers and drop them in the center of town. The farmer did as he was told. Then the preacher asked him to go and collect the feathers and put them back in the bag. The farmer tried but couldn’t as the feathers had all

4 Ways You can enjoy Peace and Love in your Relationships
This post isn’t necessarily just about romance. It’s about any relationship – with your brother, your mother, your coworker, or your friend.
And I admit I am not an expert.
I’ve made a million and one mistakes in relationships. I’ve expected too much. I’ve been competitive. I’ve been suspicious. I’ve been dependent. I’d like to think what redeems me from all these mistakes is that I’ve also been honest.
Being self aware, in my opinion, is far more valuable than being perfect -mostly because the former is attainable and helpful, while the latter is neither.

Why I will like Jimi Agbaje to win Saturday's election-Mute Efe
Free of any external influence I will like Jimi Agbaje to win the gubernatorial election scheduled to hold on Saturday. My reasons are as follow:
1. Every government needs a strong opposition as a check on its excesses. The reason APC became a strong opposition was primarily because it had control over a state like Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of the nation. Had it not been so, the story would have been different. ...Now that APC is at the centre, it is only right that if there will be a strong opposition during their reign then the opposition must be in control of Lagos.
2. Some say that Lagos has been sidelined in terms of Federal Government's presence in the state because it was under the control of an opposition party. That is true. There are abandoned Federal projects scattered all across

President Jonathan’s top aide, Oronto Douglas, passes on.
Oronto Douglas, the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Research, Documentation and Strategy, is dead.
Mr. Douglas, 49, a presidency source said, passed on at the State House clinic at 4:58 a.m. Thursday.
The real cause of his death is unknown at this time, but the presidential adviser is said to have managed a terminal illness for sometime, and had, from time to time, sought treatment abroad for prolonged periods.
