I’ve no anointed candidate for 2015 – Akpabio

Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio
Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio says he has no anointed candidate to succeed him in 2015.
The governor said only God would determine his successor.
The governor, represented by the state Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr. Emmanuel Enoidem, said this while inaugurating some projects at Nsan.
According to him, beyond human imagination, whoever pleases God, will be the next governor of the state.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Anietie Ukpe, stated this in a statement on Saturday.
Akpabio called on the people to go into prayers so that God would give them another leader, who would continue with the transformation programme in the state.
The governor said, “I have given a sense of dignity, respect and responsibility to Akwa Ibom people; hence, we need the sustenance and sustainability of this culture and a man, who is competent and has the capacity to continue with the current tempo of development in the state.
“If there is any government in the history of Nigeria and Akwa Ibom State that has been so sensitive to the plights of the people and passionate about provision of infrastructure, it is my government.”
