Colonialism .... the other side of the coin

The British have been foraging into Yoruba-land as far back as the late 18th century. And talking about British indirect rule, this didn't occur until the latest part of the 19th century after the Yoruba Kirija war of 1877-1893. Colonization was the only solution that was going to save Africa from our tyrannical system of government, and evil customs. As far back at 1880, Ijesha people were famously called "Ounje Orisha", 'foods of the gods" and were usually sacrificed when any blood sacrifices were required, this among hundreds of insane culture that both Islam and Christainity weeded away.

Yorubas alone fought over 100 different wars among themselves within the span of 1800-1900! Have you read about King Kosoko and Adeyemi? And about the British Royal Navy's move in impeaching Adeyemi because he was too busy selling his own people for peanuts to those French, Portuguese, and Spaniards? Slave hunting became the reason for conquests and war, and people were sold for half a bag of cowries, and equivalent of 10 silvers as far back then.

You keep wondering why you find Yoruba people all over Jamaica, Serial Leone, Haiti, and the Bahamas, Argentina among other places? It was [not] because the white hated us, it was because we hated one another and have so much madness in our heart that only civilization could cure. Colonization was the reason we still have a race----if it wasn't for what these Oyinbo brought, who brought: Islam, Christianity, Civilization, and Commerce, I'm sure by now, we would still be killing one anothers on daily basis. The Oyinbos were never our enemies....they were our greatest benefactors!
